The Yurayura Q anime adaptation of Gido Amagakure's manga is a heartwarming comedy that follows Kyūko, a high school girl with a unique heritage. Born to a human and a fox, she struggles with her ordinary appearance and fox charm powers. Her childhood friend, Haru-chan, finds her charming and adores her, but Kyūko works hard to be the best she can be. The manga, launched in 2019, is set to end on July 27, with the fifth compiled volume released in January. Amagakure's previous works, Sweetness & Lightning and A Galaxy Next Door, have also been adapted into anime and live-action series, with the latter premiering in April 2023. Tomoshibi Kara Sparkle, a new manga by Amagakure, was launched in April 2026, adding to the creator's impressive body of work.
