Milan Fashion Week Men’s Fall 2026: Highlights, Trends, and Must-See Shows (2026)

The Milan Fashion Week Men’s Calendar for Fall 2026: A Fashion Extravaganza

The holiday season may be in full swing, but the fashion world is already gearing up for the New Year. The Fall/Winter 2026 menswear season will commence on January 13 with the men’s trade show Pitti Uomo, followed by Milan Fashion Week (MFW) Men’s from January 16 to 19. This highly anticipated event promises to showcase some of the most exciting names in fashion.

Ralph Lauren Returns to Milan

Ralph Lauren, a legendary name in fashion, is making a grand comeback to the Milan schedule after more than two decades. His European runway debut in Milan in 2002 set the stage for his return, adding a touch of nostalgia to the event. Zegna, another iconic brand, is also returning to its home turf, following a one-off show in Dubai in June. DSquared2, which took a break after its successful FW25 anniversary show, is back on the runway, ready to captivate audiences.

Italian Mainstays and Newcomers

The MFW Men’s show schedule boasts a star-studded lineup of Italian fashion houses, including Prada, Dolce & Gabbana, Paul Smith, Tod’s, Canali, Etro, and Bally. These brands will grace the catwalks throughout the week, showcasing their latest collections. Additionally, Milan welcomes new names this season, such as Bottega Bernard, K-Way, and Stone Island. Stone Island, in particular, will make its debut with an installation featuring visual media artist Ken-Tonio Yamamoto, adding a unique artistic dimension to the event.

Ferragamo’s Menswear Revival

Ferragamo, a renowned fashion house, is making a strong statement in menswear by returning to the men’s calendar for the first time since 2019. This time, they will opt for a presentation format, offering a unique and immersive experience for attendees.

A Special Coincidence: The 2026 Winter Olympics

The FW26 season coincides with a significant event for Milan and the Lombardy region—the 2026 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, which will take place between Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo. The Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana (CNMI) will launch an Olympics campaign, featuring items from the Olympic Museum in Lausanne, Switzerland, and highlighting the works of emerging brands on the calendar, such as Cascinelli, Ascend Beyond, Moarno, MTL Studio, Via Piave 33, and LVMH Prize 2023 winner Setchu. Setchu, following its runway debut at Pitti Uomo in January, will present its second show in Milan, further adding to the excitement.

Milan’s Fashion Future: A Creative Hub

Carlo Capasa, president of the Italian Chamber of Fashion, is committed to Milan’s fashion future. In a press conference, he highlighted Fondazione Sozzani, a brand incubator founded in 2016 by Carla Sozzani and Sara Maino Sozzani, as the 'beating heart of the week.' This initiative will showcase young talents at the Fashion Hub. Additionally, Capasa pointed to Domenico Orefice, Simon Cracker, and Marcello Pipitone as rising stars to watch. He emphasized Milan’s position as a central hub for creative and men’s fashion, where identity, experimentation, and industry converge. He stated, 'Milan Fashion Week brings together institutions, businesses, creativity, the production chain, and distribution to strengthen the competitiveness of 'Made in Italy' globally.'

Milan continues to invest in the future by providing concrete spaces for young brands and emerging talent, recognizing that the creative energy of new generations is essential for the growth and evolution of the fashion industry.
