High School Youth Group

Youth 9th-12th Grade will meet at the church Sunday nights from 6:30-8:00pm during the school year. While here, we dig into the Bible, play games, eat lots of food, and enjoy fellowship with one another. During the year we serve supper at the Beacon of Hope, along with other service opportunities.

King's Kids

The "King's Kids" choir includes children from Kindergarten through 4th grade.  We practice every Wednesday from 5:30-6:00.  We sing once a month at the beginning of the Worship service.  We sing happy kid songs. Along with the "Joyful Noise" choir, we have occasionally enjoyed sharing stories from the Bible through learning and performing a musical. All school age children are welcome at any time during the school year!

Confirmation

When in 7th-8th grade, youth have the opportunity to go through confirmation class. This class meets on Sunday mornings. Over the course of the school year, students will learn more about the Methodist church (beliefs, structure, etc), as well as the Christian faith in general. A mission trip and retreat are a part of the confirmation experience. Confirmation will start in the fall of 2018.

Vacation Bible School

Summer fun for those 3-years-old through completion of 5th grade!!! Check with the church office for dates.  The children will learn to conquer challenges with God's mighty power through the Shipwrecked VBS experience. Using the rotation model for learning, children will learn stories and participate in activities all while learning that God has the power to provide, comfort, heal, forgive and love us forever.  This ministry is offered free of charge.
