Chancel Choir is a group made up of adults but would also love to have high school youth join us as well. We sing many types of music such as traditional, gospel, classical, and contemporary to name a few. We often perform two cantatas a year around Christmas and Easter. We meet Wednesday nights at 7 pm in the sanctuary. We normally will sing 2 out of the 4 Sunday’s each month. We sing September through May of each year. We invite anyone interested to check out a rehearsal. If you have any additional questions please don’t hesitate to email firstname.lastname@example.org or call the church office.

“The Praise Team at First United Methodist is made up of high school through adult singers and instrumentalists. We sing one Sunday per month, generally on the last Sunday. We also lead the contemporary "Filling Station" service on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month September through May. We perform a variety of contemporary Christian music and encourage anyone who likes to sing contemporary music to join us. We also encourage anyone who plays an instrument to join us, too. We like to have a base of keyboard, bass, guitar and drums, but also like to have any band or orchestra instruments as well."
The Wesley Ringers (Handbell Choir at UMC) meets on Wednesdays in the upstairs bell room from 6:00-6:50pm. We perform once a month at the church service and are looking for more members to participate! Contactthe church office if you are interested in joining our group!
The "King's Kids" choir includes children from Kindergarten through 4th grade. We practice every Wednesday from 5:30-6:00. We sing once a month at the beginning of the Worship service. We sing happy kid songs. Along with the "Joyful Noise" choir, we have occasionally enjoyed sharing stories from the Bible through learning and performing a musical. All school age children are welcome at any time during the school year!
